My 2025 Goals: Château Dreams, Creative Growth, and Personal Development

As we welcome the New Year, I’ve been reflecting on my journey and setting some big goals for 2025. Living in a château in France has been nothing short of magical—and challenging—but I’m ready to embrace the new year with creativity, ambition, and a little bit of chaos. Let me take you through my plans for YouTube, personal growth, and beyond. 🌟

1. Growing ‘Le Demi Château’ Sustainably on YouTube 🎥

In 2025, I’m focusing on creating content that resonates while maintaining balance. Here’s the plan:

New Upload Schedule: One video every Sunday. Sundays feel like a perfect fit for a cozy château update.

Exclusive Patreon Content: I’m shifting my second weekly video to Patreon, where I’ll share behind-the-scenes updates and real-time glimpses into my life. If you’re curious about what’s happening right now in the château, Patreon is where it’s at! https://www.patreon.com/c/ledemichateau

Building a Stronger Community: YouTube’s AdSense can be unpredictable, so this shift allows me to create sustainable income while connecting more personally with those who support me.

If you haven’t subscribed to my channel yet, now’s the perfect time! Every view, like, and share helps me keep this dream alive.

2. Bringing Back the Podcast 🎙

Remember my podcast, Queer French Farmhouse (or maybe you knew it as Beyond Château Walls)? This year, I’m excited to relaunch it with fresh energy. Expect episodes that dive into French culture, château living, and everything in between. Season 2 will explore life’s colorful, multifaceted experiences—it’s not just about being queer; it’s about embracing all aspects of life. Stay tuned for its return later this year!

3. Personal Growth Goals 🌍

Living in France as an expat comes with its own set of challenges, but it’s also the perfect environment for personal growth. Here’s what I’m working on:

Mastering French: My goal is to reach B2 level in French this year. French citizenship is on my long-term horizon (three years to go!), and improving my fluency is a step in that direction. Plus, speaking French with my boyfriend Alexis has become a wonderful part of our daily life.

Polishing My Polish: As someone with roots in Poland, I feel my Polish slipping away. This year, I’d like to reconnect with the language by listening to more Polish podcasts and practicing vocabulary.

Learning to Stress Less: Stress is something I struggle with—whether it’s small errands or big projects. This year, I’m committed to finding more effective ways to relax and let go.

4. Expanding Creative Projects 🎨

I’m passionate about blending art and community. In 2025, I want to:

Grow the Dance Festival: After organizing a successful festival last year, I’m diving deeper into French funding opportunities and aiming to expand the event. My dream? A Christmas show for families and kids!

Renovation Plans: The barn is calling! I’d love to clear it out, install flooring, and transform it into a functional space for summer. Other renovation goals include updating upstairs spaces and replacing windows for a cozier, more energy-efficient château.

5. Connecting Through Substack 📧

I’m growing my newsletter this year, so if you haven’t signed up yet, you’re missing out on exclusive updates, personal reflections, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of château life. It’s a space where I can share more of the journey, unfiltered.

Looking Ahead

This year feels like a turning point—both for me personally and for my château journey. Whether it’s mastering French, refining my YouTube content, or creating meaningful art, I’m excited to take it all on (with plenty of help from my dogs and a strong cup of cashew-milk hot chocolate).

What are your goals for 2025? Let me know in the comments or share them with me on Instagram or YouTube. Let’s inspire each other to make this year one to remember! 💖🏰

Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel, join me on Patreon, or sign up for my newsletter to stay updated on all things Le Demi Château. Here’s to a wonderful year ahead!
