Life with Amadeus is rooted in Le Demi Château, a medieval home in rural Charente, France. What started as a house I didn’t yet fully understand became the setting for a new life — one shaped by slow renovation, creative work, and the quiet art of making home. This space brings together that whole world: films from daily life here, thoughtful projects like Château Letters, and the story of building something meaningful after change. It is a place for beauty in progress, calm storytelling, and life lived a little more intentionally.

The Château Letters

Château Letters are a slower, more personal way of sharing life at Le Demi Château. Each one includes a printed letter from my world in rural France, usually a seasonal recipe, and a small extra — often a piece of wallpaper, paper, or another detail from my home that can be kept as a memory or used for scrapbooking. I wanted them to feel tactile, thoughtful, and a little old-fashioned: not just something to read, but something to hold onto. They are available through my Patreon membership for $15, with international shipping included.
